TPSO Seeking Burglary Suspect

HAMMOND, LA – June 27, 2016 - Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards reports the following.

On June 20, 2016, the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a residential burglary in progress at the Woodstone Drive apartment complex in Hammond. A witness stated they observed a black male exiting an apartment with televisions in hand. It was stated that when the suspect was confronted by by-standers, he dropped the televisions and fled the scene.

The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office patrol units, K-9 unit, as well as Hammond Police Department responded to the area in an attempt to locate the suspect. After a thorough search, the suspect could not be located.

The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office crime scene unit arrived on scene and began to process the apartment for forensic evidence. The crime scene unit was successful in locating substantial evidence from the apartment. With assistance of Hammond Police Department Detectives, the suspect has been identified as Christian Matthew Boudreaux (B/M, 11-27-1994) 1344 Old Baton Rouge Hwy.

Detectives from the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office Burglary Unit have obtained an arrest warrant for Christian Matthew Boudreaux for RS 14:62 Residential Burglary. The Burglary Unit is requesting help from the public in locating Christian Matthew Boudreaux.
