Who Did IT???

PONCHATOULA, LA - (September 29, 2016) - Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards is asking for the public's assistance in catching those responsible for a rash of vehicle burglaries that took place on September 27th and 28th, in the Ponchatoula area.

At least a dozen of cars were reported to be burglarized late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning. “Between 12 and 15 vehicles were burglarized. Almost all of them had been left unlocked.” says Edwards. Residents can deter thieves by making sure their vehicles are locked up and not leaving valuable items in plain sight.
There are no suspects in the burglaries at this time. We are asking for the public's assistance. Anyone with information regarding these break-ins is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800.554.5245. "I always say someone knows what's going on and if you are one of the, please step up make the call.” pleads Edwards. All calls to Crime Stoppers remain completely anonymous.
