Sheriff's Scholarship Program
HAMMMOND – Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards is pleased to announce that the Louisiana Sheriff’s Scholarship Program for the academic year of 2015 - 2016 is now underway. It is made possible by the generosity of Honorary Members of the Louisiana Sheriff’s Honorary Membership Program. The Scholarship Program will award 64 scholarships, a $500.00 each, to students residing in parishes where Sheriff’s are affiliates of the Louisiana Sheriff’s Honorary Membership Program. This effort is an expression of the Program’s confidence in, and respect for, education and training.
The goal is to provide assistance to worthy Louisiana students in furthering their education and training. This scholarship will be given to a graduating seniot who will be attending a Louisiana College.
Completed applications are due to the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office by March 25, 2016. Scholarship winners will be announced May 1st, 2016.
