On August 23, 2017, the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office began working on a tip that 32- year- old Stephan Thomas of Ponchatoula, LA, who was wanted by the TPSO for a home invasion that occurred on Sept. 1, 2016, in Tickfaw, LA- was summoned to appear at the Amite Courthouse for 9:00 a.m. that yesterday on unrelated charges.
Detectives responded to the courthouse only to discover Thomas sitting patiently - anticipating his turn to appear before the court.
