TPSO's Reserve Academy WANTS YOU!
HAMMOND, LA – (November 14, 2017) - The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is currently seeking applications for Reserve Deputies. Our Reserve Deputies support our sheriff’s office by providing thousands of hours of community service within our community.
Reserve Deputy’s are volunteers who give of their personal time and talents to help the Sheriff’s Office deliver its day-to-day law enforcement services. Reserve deputies serve in all divisions of the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office. Each Reserve Deputy is required to complete 320 hours of training, just as required for our Patrol Deputies and graduate from the TPSO Reserve Academy scheduled to begin in March of 2018. Classes are every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings and specified weekends for a total of 320 hours.
Anyone interested in becoming a Reserve Deputy is asked to please fill out an application at either the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office locations - 14575 Club Deluxe Road, Hammond, LA. or in Amite at 313 East Oak Street. You may also download an application from our website at www.tpso.org.
