INDEPENDENCE, LA – (April 18, 2018) – Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards is asking for the public’s assistance in gathering information about a recent burglary and vandalism that occurred at the Independence Recreation Park on W. Fontana Rd.
On or about April 16, 2018, unknown subjects entered the concession building located in the park and stole large quantities of food, drinks, candy, etc. and the cash box. If that wasn’t enough, the scoundrels subsequently vandalized the building with graffiti inside and out and basically trashed the entire building.
