Burglary Arrests

PONCHATOULA, LA - October 1, 2018 - Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards reports the following arrests:

On September 25, 2018, the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office (TPSO) was contacted by the Ponchatoula Police Department with information obtained from an arrest made by the Ponchatoula Police Department. The information provided related to multiple burglaries and thefts that recently occurred in the area of Creekside Drive Loranger, LA. and on Craine Lane in Livingston Parish.
With the assistance of the Ponchatoula Police Department, the TPSO and Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office joined forces as they began an investigation into the information collected. As a result, additional intel obtained led detectives to a residence on Dennis Dr. in Hammond, LA. It was learned that property stolen from the Livingston Parish burglary was allegedly being housed in the residence. Detectives then responded to the residence. As detectives approached the residence, 24-year-old Wesley Lehmann. fled on foot through a rear door. Subsequently, Detectives knocked on the door, and received consent to search the residence and property.

The result - discovery of numerous articles of stolen property. Stolen property was observed and located in common areas throughout the residence, as well as within personal property of those occupying the residence. Also, Lehmann was located hiding behind a small shed on the property and taken into custody without incident.

Arrested at the Dennis Dr. residence on 9/26/2018, were:
1. 26 - year- old Douglas Wayne Meyers - W/M - of Dennis Dr. Hammond, LA.
Charges: Possession of stolen property and one count FTA.

2. 26-year-old Sean Michael Rogers - W/M - of Hammond, LA.
Charge: Possession of stolen property.

3. 24-year-old Wesley Allan Lehmann - W/M - of Hammond, LA.
Charges: Possession of stolen property, fugitive from Livingston, Baton Rouge Police Department and East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office.

4. 27 - year-old Trenton Allen McManus - W/M - of Holden, LA.
Charges: Possession Schedule II (METH), one outstanding warrant.

5. 23 - year-old Cinnamon Danay Nolen - W/F - of Hammond, LA.
Charge: Possession of stolen property.

6. 23-year-old Lindsey Anne Meyers - W/F- of Dennis Dr. Hammond, LA
Charge: Possession of stolen property.
Tangipahoa Parish Detectives, with assistance of Livingston Parish Detective have recovered some of the property stolen from the Creekside Drive burglary and have returned the property to the victim. Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office and Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office are continuing to investigate. Additional arrests and charges are believed to be forthcoming.
