Arrest
Amite, LA July 11, 2019 - On July 8, 2019, Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Detectives arrested Leslie Wayne Giddens ,37 years of age from Amite, LA. for the May 26, 2019, murder of 64 year old Lucky Williams.
The murder occurred at Mr. Williams residence on Meghans Loop Tickfaw, LA. Giddens was developed as a suspect early on in the investigation, and was linked to the murder through forensic evidence. Robbery is believed to be the motive.
Giddens, who is already in custody on a probation hold violation, was booked with one count of 1st degree murder and armed robbery.
