UPDATE- Missing Teens

HAMMOND, LA - October 11, 2019 - Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office is asking for your assistance in locating two runaway teens.
14-year-old Alonna Nicole Carter and 15-year-old Jeramiyah Knox are believed to have run away together after being told they could no longer date. Both juveniles are believed to have runaway early Thursday morning from their homes in Hammond, LA.
Alonna is described as being 5’ tall and about 105 pounds. Jeramiyah is said to stand about 6’ tall and weighing about 170 pounds.
Yesterday around 4:00 p.m., Jeramiyah called his grandmother from a blocked number stating that he and Alonna were leaving and weren't coming back. Alonna was last seen when she went to bed Wednesday evening and Jeremiyah was last seen early Thursday morning after being told to get ready for school. He subsequently left the residence through a bedroom window.
Sheriff Edwards is asking anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of these two teens to contact please the Sheriff’s Office at (986) 345-6150. Detective Wade Bridges is the lead detective on the case.
