Local man accused of “Whopper Theft”.
HAMMOND, LA - January 21, 2020 - Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards is asking for the public's assistance is locating 28-year-old Darryl K. James of Ponchatoula, LA.
James is wanted by the TPSO for felony theft. James is accused of taking over $2,000 from a fast food restaurant located on Puma Dr. in Hammond.
James was responsible for making a night deposit on Nov. 10, 2019, however there is no record of the deposit ever being made, nor has James returned to work.
Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Darryl K. James is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 800.554.5245. Detective Earl McFarland is the lead investigator, 985-902-2043.
