HAMMOND, LA - March 13, 2020 - Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards is asking for your assistance in identifying the subjects connected in two separate and unrelated theft investigations. Both cases are being led by TPSO Detective Earl McFarland, (985) 902 2043.

1. The first case revolves around an unidentified black male who was captured on video surveillance at Dillard’s Department Store located in the Hammond Square Mall.

March 7, 2020, the male in two of the attached photos was captured on video surveillance stealing well over $1,000 worth of “Patricia Nash" handbags. The subject is observed placing the handbags in pre-used Dillard’s bags that were previously strategically hidden in the store. The subject returned to the store later that evening to repeat the crime.

Luckily, his criminal activity was caught on video.

2. The second case being investigated involves three unidentified females. The investigation began on March 11, 2020, when the three females in the attached photo were caught by security cameras stealing from the Miller's Mart on W. Club Deluxe Rd. According to witnesses, one of the three accused created a distraction in the store while one of the other females covertly concealed merchandise and got away without paying for the items.
