Hammond man wanted for Rape – arrested in Kenner, LA.
HAMMOND, LA – September 18, 2020 – Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards reports the arrest of wanted subject, 47 – year -old Eric Charles Brown of Tickfaw.
Brown was taken into custody yesterday in Kenner, LA. on an active warrant by the TPSO for third-degree rape. With the assistance of the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, Kenner Police Department, and the US Marshal’s, Brown was taken into custody without incident.
The incident in which Brown is accused occured on September 9, 2020, at a residence in the Hammond area.
Brown will be extradited to the Tangipahoa Parish Jail where he will remain on the aforementioned charge and a Probation and Parole detainer.
