HAMMOND, LA - September 22, 2020 - Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office continues to seek justice in a 2016 homicide investigation. A fatal shooting that left one man dead and one injured.
Sept. 29, 2020, will mark four years since 21-year-old Kevin Griffin was murdered in the streets of Roseland, LA. Griffin was shot to death on September 29, 2016, at about 4:45 in the afternoon.
What we know - A unknown male driving a small white car — possibly a Mitsubishi — stopped on Faith Street, stepped out of the vehicle and fired shots at 21-year-old Kevin Griffin of Hammond, killing him and wounding a bystander (a 25-year-old male Roseland resident).
Motive is still unknown. Detective Mike Sticker is the lead investigator.
