PONCHATOULA, LA - Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards is asking for the public’s assistance in gathering information related to several vehicle burglaries and the theft of a vehicle in the Landings Subdivision located off of Highway 22 in Ponchatoula, LA.
The suspects are described as being tall, thin individuals, wearing dark colored clothing. After entering several unsecured vehicles, then removing personal property located inside, the suspects happened upon an unsecured vehicle with keys left in the ignition. Capitalizing on the opportunity, they hopped in the white 2010 Sierra Z71, and fled the area in the stolen vehicle.
These incidents occurred in the morning hours of December 1, 2020. A security camera captured video of the suspects. It appears that one of the subjects is armed with a Semi-automatic handgun.
