AMITE, LA - Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards reports the following:
Detectives are currently working a theft that occurred at the Tractor Supply located on Highway 16 in Amite.
On December 27, 2020, at approximately 1:00 p.m., a white male wearing a dark colored shirt and red in color mask walked out of the front door of the business with a small generator still in the box without paying.
The white male then entered a newer model black in color Chevrolet Avalanche and sped away.
Attached are pictures captured from the store’s security cameras to include one of the suspect exiting the store with the generator and one of the suspect vehicle as it sped off.
