Welcome to the Tangipahoa Parish Jail. Our mission here is to provide the highest quality of public safety services to our community. We strive to maintain a safe environment for those in our custody. We make every effort to be responsive to the needs of those we serve and work in partnership with our community to solve issues of mutual concern.

Tangipahoa Parish Jail New Visitation Dates and Times

  • Visitors must arrive 15 minutes prior to visitation time.
  • Visitation time is 15 minutes per offender.

Ways to deposit money to an offender account:

  1. ONLINE: at www.forecommsolutions.com by using a credit or debit card. (Processing/service charges do apply based on amount of deposit.)
  2. KIOSK: when family/friends visit, they can use the lobby kiosk to deposit cash or use a debit/ credit card.
  3. U.S. POSTAL SERVICE MONEY ORDERS: Tangipahoa Parish Jail WILL NOT process money orders. All money orders mailed to our facility and not filled out as directed below WILL BE DESTROYED.

The money order MUST be payable to “Inmate Account Management Fund”. Offender name and resident ID number must be printed on the money order. The sender’s contact information MUST be completed in full. (There will be a $1.00 processing charge deducted from the amount set.)
