Welcome! On behalf of the men and women of the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office, I would like to personally welcome you to our department’s website. It’s our hope that this site will provide you with a greater understanding of the services that the department provides to our community. Additionally, we will continue to work to update our web page with information that all members of the community will find useful and important.
Our website is just one way of demonstrating the sense of commitment, professionalism and dedication that the members of our department tirelessly work to achieve. We believe a critical component of our mission in making Tangipahoa a safer community to live, work, and raise our families is the obligation to keep you informed of the the activities and events of the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office.

If you would like to report a crime by phone, please contact us by phone at (985) 345-6150.
If it is an emergency, please call 9-1-1.
If you would like to submit anonymous information about a crime to local law enforcement, you may do so online through Crime Stoppers of Tangipahoa or by calling 1-800-554-5245. You can also download the “P3 Tips” app to submit and track the status of tips on your smartphone.
SURPLUS INVENTORY
The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office Asset Manager is responsible for the accounting of all the sheriff's office surplus property. Items not needed by the department may be sold through public auction.
Public auction includes an annual local auction as well as the use of internet sales and auctions. You can find out more info below:
