Civil Processing Division

The Civil Processing Division of the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office manages all paperwork related to court orders and civil warrants, including suits for mortgage payments and orders concerning felony charges and child custody transfers. This division is also responsible for processing criminal and civil subpoenas throughout Tangipahoa Parish, as well as handling paperwork for seizures of both movable and immovable property.

Sheriff's Sales conducted by the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office also fall under the responsibilities of the Civil Processing Division. This includes managing garnishments, evictions, and preparing seizure notices for distribution to Civil Processing deputies for service. They schedule and advertise Sheriff's sales in local newspapers and ensure they are conducted on designated dates.
