Communications Division

The Communications Division is the foundation for the successful operation of the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office. This division is responsible for dispatching law enforcement personnel to crime scenes, accidents, and other emergencies throughout the parish. The team also supports road deputies by supplying them with immediate background information and criminal histories. They play a role in keeping our deputies and the public safe by providing officers with critical information needed for effective response.

Our dispatchers are highly trained professionals equipped with computer-aided dispatching technology, allowing them to monitor the location of deputies across the parish and strategically manage responses to minimize response times and maximize efficiency.
