The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office deputies tasked with courthouse security function under a multi-layered system involving physical screening, maintaining courtroom order and safety, and securing inmate transportation between the jail and the courthouse under strict operational protocols to ensure the safety of judges, staff, jurors, witnesses, and the public.
