Criminal Records Division
The Criminal Records Division plays the important role of maintaining accurate records for the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office. This includes documenting all reports from deputies for criminal offenses, accidents, and arrests. The division attends court to document proceedings for cases that go to trial to make sure all information is properly recorded.
We handle various public requests including criminal and background checks and requests from insurance companies regarding burglaries, automobile accidents, and citations. Requests are handled by phone, fax, mail, and in person for copies of criminal records and reports.
