Special Response Team
The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team (SRT) operates around the clock, responding to critical incidents including barricaded suspects, hostage crises, active shooter situations, and riot control. SRT also supports other divisions by being present during arrests and search warrant operations in high-risk and hazardous situations to minimize escalation and contain potential threats.
