Man Arrested for Shooting Brother in Weekend Dispute
TICKFAW (September 8, 2025)- The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) has arrested a Tickfaw man for shooting and injuring his brother during an argument at their Tickfaw-area apartment.
Randolph Brown III, 27, has been booked on one count each of Attempted Manslaughter, Possession of a Stolen Firearm, and Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
Around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 6, a call came in reporting a 24-year-old man had been shot multiple times in the stomach. The caller indicated the shooter was the victim’s brother and that he had run from the scene. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he remains in stable condition.
Around 5:30 a.m., Brown was located and taken into custody. The weapon recovered was confirmed stolen out of the Houma area.
