ROBERT(June 20, 2026)- Three teens from Ponchatoula have been arrested in connection with damaging a golf cart and stealing property from guests of a Robert/Ponchatoula area RV park.

Brandon Gauna, 19, was booked into the Tangipahoa Parish Jail this week on two counts of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor as well as one count each of Theft, Criminal Trespassing, Simple Criminal Damage to Property and Unauthorized Use of a Movable.

Jackson Peed, 17, was issued misdemeanor summonses for Criminal Trespassing and Unauthorized Use of a Movable. A 16-year-old male was also issued a juvenile citation for one count of Criminal Trespassing and one count of Unauthorized Use of a Movable.

Early Friday morning, June 5, three males snuck onto Sun Outdoors RV Park property off of Highway 445 in the Ponchatoula/Robert area and damaged a golf cart that they took without permission. It was also learned that they stole two ice chests from different guests’ setups.

Video from a nearby gas station of the suspected trio and the distinct truck they traveled to the area in was shared with the public last weekend, and within an hour, several tips about their identities were called in, including by some of the suspects’ parents. Following consultation with the victims, warrants were obtained and executed accordingly.

The TPSO wants to thank the public for their quick assistance in this case.

In addition, Sheriff Gerald Sticker wants toremind the community, especially our teens and young adults, as well as their parents, that taking and/or damaging another person’s property is not a game;it is a crime with serious consequences that will be investigated as such.
