Four Teens Arrested, One Sought in Home Invasion Investigation
HAMMOND (July 1, 2026)- Four teenagers have been arrested, and one is still wanted, for their role in a home invasion that occurred in the Hammond area back in March.
Natara Smith and Makyah Holmes, both 18, as well as a 16-year-old female and a13-year-old female, have all been taken into custody over the past several days on one count of felony Home Invasion.
Gail Davis, 18, still has an outstanding warrant.
On the afternoon of Monday, March 16, the five suspects entered a mobile home in the 20000 block of Dunson Park Avenue and attacked a 17-year-old female while recording the beating on cellphones. One of the suspects used brass knuckles in the attack. The victim had to seek medical treatment for her injuries.
An investigation into this case eventually led detectives to identify these five suspects and arrest warrants were obtained. At this time, only Davis has not been located and detectives are asking the public to help find her.
Information about Davis’ whereabouts can be shared with our Criminal Investigations Division at 985-902-2031.
