Oct 16, 2026

HAMMOND (October 16, 2026)- The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) is asking the public for assistance identifying and locating several suspects wanted in a variety of crimes.

·        The first case is from August 26th when a resident on Wardline Road reported finding the prior tenants of her mobile home had stripped the trailer of all of its copper wire causing more than $33,000 in damages. Sharon Baker Ensor, 28, and Zach Duncan, 30, are each now wanted for Criminal Damage to Property ($25K+).

·        The next case involves one neighbor making unauthorized entry into another neighbor’s apartment on Sisters Road in Hammond, taking his debit card and using it to steal hundreds of dollars. Christopher McKinney, 42, is now wanted on one count each of Simple Burglary and Identity Theft.

·        Lastly, TPSO detectives recently asked the public for assistance with identifying two suspects who stole thousands of dollars worth of items over a four-day period from the Tractor Supply store in Hammond. Surveillance video from September 12 shows two white males suspected of taking ten different pieces of lawn care equipment. Tips from the public have helped identify one of the suspects as 48-year-old Joe Johnson, Jr. There is now a warrant for his arrest for Felony Theft.
