Under the Louisiana Public Records Law (LRS 44:1 et al), the public has the right to request certain public records from the Sheriff's Office. To make a Public Records Request of the Sheriff's Office, you should contact Chief Dennis Pevey at 985-902-2003 or via email at [email protected].
If you are needing a copy of a crash report or an incident report, please contact our Criminal Records Office at 985-345-6150 or email your request to [email protected].
