Suspects Sought in Discount Store Theft Investigation

PONCHATOULA (September 10, 2025)- The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) needs the public’s help identifying and locating two suspects accused of stealing from an area discount store.

On August23, two black females entered the Dollar General store in the 18000 block of Highway 22 in the Ponchatoula area around 1:45 p.m. Surveillance cameras captured the women collecting a large amount of merchandise, soap detergent and a large tote full of additional merchandise.

The suspect with the white shirt and black pants exited a back door with all of the items, setting off an alarm, and left in an unknown direction. The other suspect left out of the front door without paying for any of the items either.

Sheriff Gerald Sticker encourages anyone with information about who these suspects are, or their whereabouts, to contact Det. Earl McFarland at 985-514-8181.
