TPSO Investigating Vehicle Burglaries, Shots Fired in Hammond Area

HAMMOND (November 6, 2025)- The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) needs the public’s help identifying and locating at least two suspects believed to be connected to several vehicle burglaries in the Hammond area, one of which included shots being fired at an occupied vehicle.
In the overnight hours of Halloween night, several vehicles in the General Ott Road area of Hammond were broken into. As detectives were collecting interviews, reports and evidence in those cases, another incident occurred in the same area Tuesday night (Nov. 4) where a man reported being shot at while leaving for work. The victim told deputies when he slowed down after noticing two suspicious individuals, they shot at his car multiple times. He was not injured.
Thanks to community cooperation, detectives have been able to determine the two individuals in the pictures included are suspects in both cases. We also believe there are likely more burglary victims that have not made official reports yet.
Sheriff Gerald Sticker encourages anyone in the General Ott Road area who believes they were a victim of these burglaries and/or anyone with information about who these suspects are and where they can be found, to contact the Criminal Investigations Office at 985-902-2088.
