Folsom Man Arrested in Sex Crimes Investigation

HAMMOND (November 7, 2026)- The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) has arrested a Folsom-area man in two separate sex-related crimes.
Cohen Gray, 21, has been booked on one count of Sexual Battery and three counts of Pornography Involving Juveniles Under the Age of 13.
Back in October 2025, Gray was identified as a suspect in a sexual battery case involving a juvenile relative. A warrant was issued for his arrest, however, law enforcement in multiple jurisdictions were unable to locate him.
Then, this summer, the TPSO Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Division began an investigation into Child Sexual Abuse Materials (CSAM) being uploaded onto a social media app from an IP address in the parish. Just as detectives were tracing the activity back to an address within the parish, on October 15th, Gray was located at that address following a disturbance call and was placed under arrest on the outstanding sexual battery warrant. Upon review of Gray’s devices obtained during the arrest, it was confirmed that he was the suspect responsible for the CSAM uploads the ICAC team was investigating.
He was then rebooked this past week on the new charges.
A portion of this activity is part of TPSO’s partnership with Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Office and their ICAC Task Force which includes a collaboration with numerous local law enforcement agencies.
