TPSO Receives Grant Award from the NRA

HAMMOND (March 25, 2026)- The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) is proud to announce that it is the recipient of a 2026 NRA Foundation “Friends of NRA” State Fund grant.

The $1,000 award will go toward acquiring training ammunition for our deputies’ required gun range training.

The NRA Foundation State Fund Grant Program distributes half of net proceeds from local “Friends of NRA” fundraising events to qualified local, state, and national programs supporting firearm safety, marksmanship, and youth training.

More than 30 deputies, including volunteer reserves, will be able to benefit from this training support.
