The TPSO wants to thank the numerous members of our community who have sent in tips and reported sightings since publishing information about Nicole Middleton's disappearance.

Most of the details we have received are consistently placing her in the Airport Road area.

With inclement weather predicted over the next few days, we're asking the public traveling through the Airport Road area to be extra vigilant and please CALL IN any possible sightings to our detectives working this case.

While we appreciate your social media engagement, all tips need to be moved on quickly, and calling them in is the best way to ensure that.

Be On The Lookout: Missing Woman from Hammond

HAMMOND (May 15, 2026)- The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance locating a woman who walked away from a local rescue and recovery center and could be in distress.

Tuesday, May 12, 30-year-old Nicole Middleton from Slidell left the LynHaven Retreat property on Old Covington Highway on foot. She is not believed to have any identification or personal belongings, like a cellphone, with her.  

Nicole has brown eyes and brown hair and does receive treatment for a mental illness. She was last seen wearing a grey shirt and blue jeans with sandals.

Sheriff Gerald Sticker asks anyone with information regarding Nicole’s whereabouts to contact our Investigations Division at 985-402-0214.
