TPSO Seeking Identities, Locations of Several Suspects

HAMMOND (September 25, 2026)- The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) is asking the public for assistance identifying and locating several suspects wanted in a variety of crimes.

·        The first case is a narcotics-related investigation that began at the end of last month. TPSO detectives believe the black female seen in the surveillance images included may have information related to the case. The woman appeared to have a white cast on her right leg at the time and was utilizing one crutch for assistance.

·        The next case involves a suspect wanted for burglarizing the same business three times in the past six months. The incidents occurred at a business located in the 43000 block of East Pleasant Ridge Road in March, June and August of this year. All cases involved the suspect cutting a hole through a back fence and stealing several spools of cable wire that are several thousand dollars in value. Each time, the suspect has been seen on surveillance video, provided with this news release. The suspect appears to be around 6’ tall with a medium build and traveling in a4-door sedan.

·        On Thursday, September 17, a black male was seen hiding alcohol bottles in his clothes while at the convenience store located in the 11000 block of Highway 16 in Amite. When the clerk confronted the man, he physically fought the employee and ran from the store with the stolen items. The suspect was seen leaving the parking lot in a gold Chevrolet SUV, likely a Traverse, traveling westbound away from the interstate.
