Last month, TPSO Narcotics detectives began investigating suspicious activity at two mobile homes on Hood Road in Hammond. This week, that investigation led to a search warrant where TPSO Narcotics detectives, joined by Hammond Police and members of the Parish County Line Task Force, found green fentanyl, more than a half-pound of suspected marijuana, as well as scales and packaging materials, synthetic cannabinoid or “Mojo,” and opioid pills. The team also found fake license plates and inspection stickers hidden under a child’s bed. In addition, five children between the ages of one and 13 were in the home where the drugs were accessible.

The TPSO would like to thank the public for their partnership in reporting suspicious activity and for the support from our law enforcement partners.
