Be On The Lookout: Runaway Juvenile from Ponchatoula
PONCHATOULA (March 17, 2026)- The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance with locating a runaway juvenile.
Alyssa Matecun, 17, was last seen on Beauregard Street in Ponchatoula on Sunday morning, March 15. It is possible she could be in or near Sulphur, Louisiana, with relatives who are unaware she has run away.
Alyssa is described as a white female with blonde hair and blue eyes, standing 5'3" and weighing 120 pounds. She was last seen wearing grey sweatpants and a white hoodie.
Sheriff Gerald Sticker asks anyone with information regarding Alyssa’s whereabouts to call 911 if in Tangipahoa Parish; if outside of the parish, please contact our Juvenile Division at 985-902-2031.
